Islamic Services Foundation
Islamic Services Foundation (ISF) is a non-profit, tax- exempt organization established, and registered in the State of Texas since 1989. In 1988 a group of dedicated Muslim parents founded the Islamic Services Foundation (ISF) in the Dallas Metropolitan area, in Texas for the purpose of establishing an educational institution conducive to an Islamic learning environment. The initial plan was to start with kindergarten and first grade levels and to add one higher grade level every year.
Today Brighter Horizons Academy (BHA) is the first full-time Islamic college preparatory academy in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. It is also the largest in Texas and the southern United States. Since its inception the Academy has grown from 10 students in 1989 to over 844 in the 2017-2018 academic year, ranging from PK to 12th grade.
